Case Study Nine, Wedding Planning
Event: Mike and Valerie’s Wedding, June 2008
Venue: Private Lakeside Residence, Lake Forest, CA
Audience: Family and Friends
Objective: To host an intimate wedding, from start to finish, in less than three weeks time.
Solution: Mike and Valerie had originally planned a destination wedding in Hawaii. Due to a family emergency, they were forced to change their plans – quickly. The couple needed to host their nuptials more locally but wanted the same pizzazz they were to have at their original tropical location.
Skyline Events provided all major aspects of the wedding day – location acquisition, photography and videography, valet, décor, table set-up, coat check, bar service and even the exotic floral arrangements. Love at First Bite of Huntington Beach, CA provided the catering and French’s Pastry Bakery of Costa Mesa, CA the delicious wedding cake.
The evening was completed with Skyline Events’ amazing surround sound and lighting systems during the reception, setting the mood for an evening of dancing and laughter. A gobo lighting design featuring the couple’s names shined upon the dance floor all evening long.
The flawless presentation of the couple’s wedding day never skipped a beat and the couples’ happy smiles said it all as they walked down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs.
Results: The enchanted evening, which was planned and executed quickly and with precision, brought together more than 125 friends and family members to share in the love and laughter of a beautiful couple.
